Youth and Adult Programs

Swim for Life - Youth Swimmer 1


Youth Swimmer 1 is an entry level swimming lesson for youth ages 9-15.

Swim for Life - Youth Swimmer 2


Youth Swimmer 2 are intermediate swimming lessons which build on previously learned skills for youth ages 9-15. Lessons focus on enhancing the swimmers abilities in deep water. Prerequisite: Successful completion of Youth Swimmer 1 is required.

Swim for Life - Youth Swimmer 3


Youth Swimmer 3 are advanced swimming lessons which build on previously learned skills for youth ages 9-15. Lessons focus on enhancing the swimmers stroke technique and fitness. Prerequisite: Successful completeion of Youth Swimmer 2 is required.

Swim for Life - Adult 1


Whether you're just starting out or want help with your strokes, our Adult Swimmer Program is for the young at heart - no matter what your age. Whether your goals are to learn the basics or gain skill with swimming strokes your instructor will be able to provide you the support that you need. Teens and adults alike will develop water confidence and smooth, strong strokes to use for lane swimming or be fit enough for the beach. These beginning swimmers will work on safe entries, exits and moving through the water. When ready they'll do floats, glides and kicking on their front and back without assistance. They'll even explore jumping into deep water and treading water with their lifejackets on. Fitness drills suitable for their skills will increase strength and endurance.

Swim for Life - Adult 2


Whether you're just starting out or want help with your strokes, our Adult Swimmer Program is for the young at heart - no matter what your age. Whether your goals are to learn the basics or gain skill with swimming strokes your instructor will be able to provide you the support that you need. Teens and adults alike will develop water confidence and smooth, strong strokes to use for lane swimming or be fit enough for the beach. These swimmers are really going to develop their confidence. Here they'll explore underwater skills like handstands, and front somersaults. On top they'll try their hand at standing dives, forward rolls and 'tuck' jumps. Interval and sprint training will help them master their newly developed front crawl and back crawl skills.

Swim for Life - Adult 3


Whether you're just starting out or want help with your strokes, our Adult Swimmer Program is for the young at heart - no matter what your age. Whether your goals are to learn the basics or gain skill with swimming strokes your instructor will be able to provide you the support that you need. Teens and adults alike will develop water confidence and smooth, strong strokes to use for lane swimming or be fit enough for the beach. These confident swimmers will master their lifesaving kicks and swimming strokes. With the interval training and sprint racing drills they'll be ready to make the 300 m endurance workout. Shallow dives, stride jumps and compact jumps put some spice into class, along with underwater swims to recover objects, plus underwater back somersaults.
